I'm Daniëlle

I'm Daniëlle, owner of Bohemida. Since 2015 Bohemida has been selling handmade lifestyle accessories in boho style online, such as beach towels, hammam towels and straw bags. The online shop received so many compliments that shops became interested too. Later came collaborations with really lovely brands and businesses.

I'm closely involved in every step, from purchasing and contact with makers and carriers to checking and shipping your order.

I used to be a buyer for many different target groups. Now I choose what suits me and what I would use myself. I travel to Morocco regularly for purchasing, do the photo shoots myself on beautiful beaches and visit customers in the Netherlands and abroad. That variety makes my work so much fun. I'm truly grateful that I get to call this my work. I do it with love.

Handmade

My own designs, made by hand

I travel myself and choose the materials myself. When I have an idea in mind, I go for it and have it made exactly the way I see it. For wholesale orders I work the same way, but with what my customer has in mind. Of course I share my knowledge, and what I know sells well. A bag is never made by one person. One weaves the straw, another attaches the leather handles and someone else again does the sequins or wool. That is why every bag is unique.

Delivered quickly

Everything ships from stock in the Netherlands, so you don't wait weeks for a parcel. Order on a working day before 3 pm and your order is shipped the same day. In the Netherlands you often have it the next day, in Belgium it usually takes a day longer. And I ship wherever you live. Beach towels regularly go to Curaçao, for example, where they are even used as shade cloths.

Sourcing worldwide

From different parts of the world

I have products made in different parts of the world. Every country and every culture has its own craft, and I bring out the best of it. I'm in Morocco regularly. I love the scents, the colours, the people and the craftsmanship there, and I always come back with lots of new inspiration.

More than the online shop

Because I go there so often, I have built lasting contacts with makers and suppliers I trust. That allows me to have much more made than you see in the shop, such as beautiful lamps, ceramics and furniture, right up to large cabinets. Do you have a shop or business?
